What I am about

Families across Northern Oakland and Northwestern Macomb Counties want the same things: a safe community, a stable home, good schools, and a future their kids can believe in. I’m running for State Representative to deliver practical, community-focused solutions that strengthen our families, protect our quality of life, and ensure state government finally works for the people of District 66. Below are the core priorities I will work for in Lansing.

Meeting You Where We Are.

I’m not some big time show boat who wants to go to Lansing to get rich or play political games. I’m living the same realities that families across North Oakland and Northwest Macomb Counties are facing every day. I’m a working parent, raising a family, balancing responsibilities, and feeling the pressure that so many in our communities feel right now. I see gas prices rise, groceries cost more, property taxes climb, childcare strain family budgets, and everyday expenses stretch paychecks thinner and thinner. Too many politicians talk about these issues from a distance. I live them. I understand what it means to work hard, budget carefully, and still wonder why life keeps getting more expensive while wages and opportunities fail to keep pace. That is why I’m running. I want to go to Lansing to work for us, not special interests. To fight for practical solutions that lower costs, strengthen schools, support local businesses, invest in infrastructure, and make sure our communities get their fair share of attention and resources.

This campaign is about meeting people where we are right now and building a future where hard work once again leads to stability, opportunity, and peace of mind.

Working to Build the Middle Class

Strong communities are built when working people can earn a fair living, support their families, and plan for the future. For too many households, the cost of living has risen faster than wages, while the security that previous generations counted on has become harder to reach. That is not a partisan issue. It is a kitchen table issue.

I believe if you work hard, you should be able to get ahead. That means supporting good paying jobs, encouraging local business growth, expanding skilled trades and apprenticeship opportunities, and making sure workers are treated with dignity and respect on the job. It also means protecting common sense workplace standards so people can count on safe conditions, honest pay, and the ability to provide for their families.

We should be building an economy where young people can afford to stay here, families can put down roots, and seniors can retire with stability. That starts by growing the middle class in District 66 and across Michigan through practical leadership focused on work, opportunity, and economic security.

Protecting Our Land, Water, and Food Supply

Michigan’s natural resources are one of our greatest strengths. Our land, lakes, rivers, and farmland support our health, economy, and way of life. Protecting them is not just an environmental issue. It is about clean drinking water, healthy food, strong local agriculture, and preserving what makes Michigan special for future generations. I support practical stewardship that helps farmers succeed, protects family farms, and keeps productive land available for agriculture. We should encourage local food systems, support small and mid sized producers, and make it easier for families to access fresh, healthy food grown close to home.

We must also safeguard our water from contamination, invest in aging infrastructure, and make sure communities can trust the water coming from their taps. Clean air, safe water, and healthy soil are basic responsibilities, not political talking points. I believe we can grow our economy, support agriculture, and protect our resources at the same time. With smart planning and responsible leadership, we can keep Michigan healthy, strong, and thriving.

Working for the People

Public office should be about serving the people who live here, not serving corporations, political insiders, or personal agendas. District 66 deserves a representative focused on results, transparency, and doing what is best for our communities. Now a days too many decisions have been driven by special interests, partisan distractions, or priorities that do not reflect the everyday needs of working families. I believe government works best when it is honest, accountable, and focused on practical solutions that improve people’s lives. That means fighting to bring more resources and investment back to Northern Oakland County and Northwest Macomb County, making sure our communities are not overlooked when it comes to roads, schools, public safety, infrastructure, and economic development. It means asking tough questions about where tax dollars go and making sure residents see real value from the money they send to Lansing.

I am not running to represent ideology or play political games. I am running to represent the people of District 66 and to work for the greater good with common sense, integrity, and a commitment to putting community first in Michigan.
